Meant to post this two weeks ago but never got around to it. Not sure if anybody saw what the artist Banksy did when he shredded a painting immediately after it sold at auction but out of curiosity does this raise the value or lower it? Does it work because it's Banksy and he's already a rebel to begin with, or maybe because he was the first to do something like this so it brought a lot of attention to it? Or do you think what he did was a slap in the face to the art community like he had hoped? Weird question with no right or wrong answer just something to think about.
